SakhiSarthi is a platform created to support women empowerment by helping women, self-help groups, mahila mandals, and women-led businesses sell their products and services online.

This Vendor Policy explains the rules and responsibilities for vendors using SakhiSarthi.


1. Vendor Eligibility

Vendors on SakhiSarthi must:

  • Be women entrepreneurs, self-help groups, mahila mandals, or women-led businesses
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate personal, business, and bank details
  • Agree to follow SakhiSarthi’s Terms and Conditions and policies

SakhiSarthi reserves the right to approve or reject vendor applications.


2. Vendor Account Responsibility

  • Vendors are responsible for maintaining their account login details.
  • All information provided during registration must be correct and updated.
  • Any misuse or false information may lead to account suspension.

3. Product and Service Listings

Vendors must ensure that:

  • Product descriptions, prices, weight and images are accurate
  • Products are legal and permitted to sell
  • Course details, schedules, and content are clearly mentioned

Prohibited or misleading listings are not allowed.


4. Order Fulfilment and Shipping

  • Vendors are responsible for packing and shipping their products safely.
  • Orders must be dispatched within the committed timeline.
  • Vendors must share tracking details when available.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Vendors must clearly define their return and refund policy on product pages.
  • In case of approved returns, vendors are responsible for processing refunds as per platform guidelines.
  • For live courses and digital services, refund rules must be clearly stated in advance.

6. Quality and Hygiene Standards

Vendors selling food items, handmade products, or wellness-related goods must:

  • Follow basic hygiene and quality standards
  • Ensure products are safe for use or consumption

SakhiSarthi is not responsible for vendor product quality but may take action in case of repeated complaints.


7. Commission and Platform Charges

  • SakhiSarthi may charge a platform fee or commission on each sale.
  • Details of applicable charges will be communicated separately to vendors.
  • Payouts will be processed after successful order completion.

8. Vendor Conduct

Vendors must:

  • Communicate respectfully with customers
  • Avoid false claims or misleading offers
  • Not engage in fraudulent or unethical practices

Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension or termination.


9. Policy Updates

SakhiSarthi reserves the right to update this Vendor Policy at any time. Vendors are advised to review this page regularly.

This policy is designed to ensure fair selling practices, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction on the platform.
Penalties are applied as a discipline and loss-recovery mechanism, not as punishment.

  1. Late Dispatch Penalty
    Rule: Orders must be dispatched within 48 hours of confirmation.
    Penalty:
  • First instance: Warning (No charge)
  • Second instance: ₹25 per order
  • Third and subsequent instances: ₹50 per order
  1. Seller Cancellation Penalty
    Applicable when:
  • Order is cancelled after acceptance
  • Stock unavailability or listing error
    Penalty:
  • First cancellation (per month): Warning
  • Subsequent cancellations: ₹50 per order
  1. High Return / RTO Penalty
    If seller’s return or RTO rate exceeds platform average:
  • Forward/reverse shipping cost recovery
  • Reduced listing visibility
  • Temporary selling restriction in repeated cases
  1. Wrong / Damaged / Low-Quality Product
    Includes:
  • Incorrect product
  • Damaged or poor quality item
    Penalty:
  • ₹100 per incident
  • Listing removal
  • Account suspension for repeated violations
  1. Serious Policy Violations
    Includes:
  • Direct customer dealings outside the platform
  • Fake or incorrect KYC/GST details
    Actions:
  • Immediate suspension
  • Payout hold
  • Permanent ban if required
  1. Penalty Deduction
    Penalties will be adjusted from seller payouts.
    Monthly penalty statements will be available in the seller dashboard.
  2. Appeal Process
    Sellers may raise a support ticket within 7 days for penalty review with valid proof.
  3. Platform Rights
    The platform reserves the right to modify this policy with prior notice to protect customer interests.

The purpose of this penalty system is to maintain trust, quality, and smooth operations.
